As part of CIDA’s Afghanistan and Pakistan Task Force, CARE is providing humanitarian and emergency relief in Afghanistan.

Global Partners
Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA)
Care works with DANIDA through a bilateral program with the Canadian International Development Agency to address Environment and Natural Resource Management needs in Nicaragua.
Global Fund
The Global Fund is a partnership and international financing institution that works to increase funding for the prevention and treatment of HIV and AIDS, TB and malaria. CARE works with the Global Fund on Health and HIV in Kenya.
Irish Aid
Irish Aid, the Government of Ireland’s assistance program for developing countries, works with CARE in the areas of Environment and Natural Resource Management in Zambia.
Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA)
SIDA is Sweden’s government agency that provides funding for international development cooperation. CARE works with SIDA in Zimbabwe on projects that involve enterprise development.
UNICEF
CARE and UNICEF work together in the area of humanitarian and emergency assistance in countries that include Chad, Indonesia and Zimbabwe.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
CARE is one of the UNHCR’s largest partners, working particularly in Kenya and Chad to provide humanitarian and emergency relief to refugees fleeing Somalia and Sudan.
World Bank
CARE works with the World Bank in Indonesia in the area of Environment and Natural Resource Management.
World Food Programme (WFP)
CARE is the World Food Programme’s second largest partner, partnering in countries such as Kenya and Zimbabwe to prevent and address hunger.
